- Close all programs and log-in as Administrator.
- Click Start, go to Settings, and then to Control Panel. Double-click on Networks icon in the control pannel window.

- Click on the Protocols tab. If TCP/IP is not loaded, click ADD.
- Choose TCP/IP on the list and click Ok. If TCP/IP is loaded, click on Properties.
- A window will apper with four tabs.
- Under the IP address tab, check Obtain IP Address from server.

- Under the WINS Address tab, check the following:
- Enable DNS for windows resolution.
- Enable LMHOSTS Lookup.

- Under the Routing tab, leave the check box blank for Enable IP Forwarding. Then click Ok.

- Double click My Computer and then Dial-Up Networking.

- In the next screen. The wizard will ask for a name, type NSU-PPP. Then clcik Next.

- Check all three boxes in the next screen and then clcik Next.

- Refer to table below to enter the correct Phone Number to enter in this screen. Then click Next.

- Dial Up Number for Local Access.
From Off-Campus: 448-4300
From On-Campus : 4300
- Check the Point to Point Prototcol (PPP) connection and click Next.

- In the next window, check the None box, and click Next.

- Leave the IP address field blank and then clcik Next.

- Leave the DNS server and WINS fields blank and clcik Next.

- Click Finish.
